DESCRIPTION:To mark International Museum Day on Monday, 18 May 2026, the National and
Kapodistrian University of Athens is hosting an event entitled
‘University of Athens Museums Bring Science and Society Together’ at
18:00 in the Cast Gallery, Museum of Archaeology and History of Art, School
of Philosophy, on the Zografou University Campus.

The event will explore the role of the university museums as vibrant
centres of knowledge, research, culture, and public engagement, featuring
contributions from leading academics, researchers, and professionals in
museology and cultural heritage management.
