The pilot training consists of 8 training courses in the framework of the EU Erasmus+ project “BUILD2050 – Training for Sustainable and Healthy Building for 2050”, coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS).

Each course lasts 25 hours, divided into 5 consecutive weeks, starting from mid-March 2023 until April 2024. Every week, there will be 5 hours: 3 hours synchronous with live interaction between trainers and trainees (including lessons, exercises, team activities, etc.) and 2 hours asynchronous for home study and work, guided by the material (videos, documents, quizzes and other learning activities) prepared by trainers.

The courses are aimed at engineering and architecture professionals, public and private sector employees, and graduate and PhD students.

All the courses are free of charge and will be held in English.

All the courses will be mainly online: the participants can attend the courses remotely.

A participation certificate will be provided to each trainee at the end of each course if you respect the mandatory 80% frequency.

Each participant may apply for a single course or several courses.

Applications will then be reviewed by an international committee that will select a maximum of 60 participants for each course, 10 per country/academic institution of the consortium partners: i.e., 20 from Italy (UNIBO and POLIMI), 10 from Portugal (IPS), 10 from Germany (RUB), 10 from Greece (NKUA), and 10 from Poland (SGGW).

You can find attached the open call with detailed information on the courses (also available here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1LStCBxHIH0W1k_XQ5MuO5_16RUvZplq4?usp=share_link) and the application instructions (you can apply here: https://forms.gle/ZyontHXn7Zgi8ESB6).

The calendar of lectures for each course will be provided in the next weeks.
