Are you interested in contributing to improving the construction, renovation and ope- ration of healthy and sustainable buildings at the European level through the develop- ment of integrated and transnational training?

Do you want to collaborate with people from other European countries in an interdisci- plinary context?

If you currently live or work in one of the BUILD2050 partner countries (Italy, Germany, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Sweden), you can join the BUILD2050 pilot training!

Call opening: 17 January 2023

Application deadline: 07 February 2023

Communication of the results of the selection procedure: 21 February 2023

Pilot training courses: March 2023 – April 2024

How to apply

  1. Fill this online form, responding to some brief questions.
  2. Upload your CV (in English), preferably in European format, including the main study and work expe- riences, relevant participation in international exchange programmes, etc., to the same online form.
  3. Upload your presentation letter (max 300 words – in English) with a short biography and your main interests and experiences (also abroad) connected to the fields of the call to the same online form.

University of Athens

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which was inaugurated on May 3, 1837, was initially housed in a renovated Ottoman building on the northeastern side of the Acropolis. This building has since been restored and now functions as the University Museum. Originally named the "Othonian University," after Otto, the first king of Greece, it consisted of four academic departments and 52 students. As the first university of the newly established Greek state, as well as of the broader Balkan and Mediterranean region, it assumed an important socio-historical role, which was pivotal in the development of specific forms of knowledge and culture within the country.
