European Summer School on Artificial Intelligence (ESSAI&ACAI 2024) [15-26/07/2024]

The European Summer School on Artificial Intelligence and the Advanced Course on Artificial Intelligence invite participants from all over the world to Athens to attend its courses and advanced tutorials from July 15 to July 26, 2024 (two weeks).

The school offers 30 week long courses and 11 two hour long advanced tutorials taught by distinguished international experts in AI.

Registration is now open at: https://essai2024.di.uoa.gr/registration.html.

Participants can register for one week only or for the whole school. There is also the option of attending the courses remotely.

Fellowships funded by EurAI covering registration will be offered to 30 selected students. Details are available at: https://essai2024.di.uoa.gr/EurAI-travel-grants.html.

If you are affiliated with an organization which is a partner of the Network of Excellence TAILOR (https://tailor-network.eu/), you will be able to attend with a free registration (details appear on the registration page and have been sent to TAILOR partners).

University of Athens

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which was inaugurated on May 3, 1837, was initially housed in a renovated Ottoman building on the northeastern side of the Acropolis. This building has since been restored and now functions as the University Museum. Originally named the "Othonian University," after Otto, the first king of Greece, it consisted of four academic departments and 52 students. As the first university of the newly established Greek state, as well as of the broader Balkan and Mediterranean region, it assumed an important socio-historical role, which was pivotal in the development of specific forms of knowledge and culture within the country.
