Event Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Uprising of the School of Law

Dear Colleagues,

This year marks the 50^th anniversary of one of the most pivotal moments in the anti-dictatorship student movement, the ‘Uprising of the School of Law’, as the occupation of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens’ Arts Building in February 1973 by students protesting the military dictatorship is known.

Precisely fifty years after the said event, on February 21, 2023, at 19:00, NKUA will honour the heroic struggle of the students. Our venue will be the Great Hall of the Propylaea, and the programme will be announced soon.
