A visit to NKUA by faculty members of the Kristu Jayanti College, India

On Wednesday, 8 February 2023, 35 faculty members from Kristu Jayanti College, India, led by the Principal, Fr Dr Augustine George, and the Vice-principal, Fr Lijo P Thomas, visited NKUA. During their visit, they met with the Rector of NKUA, Professor Meletios-Athanasios Dimopoulos, and then took a guided tour of the University of Athens’ Propylaea building.

Also present at the meeting was the Associate Professor of the Department of Theology of NKUA, Mr Ioannis Panagiotopoulos.

Kristu Jayanti College is an autonomous academic Institution founded in 1999 and run by Carmelites (Brothers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel), a Monastic Order affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church. It is a NAAC-accredited A++ College (National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India). The University now has over 10,500 students and more than 450 faculty members. It offers 57 programmes in Computer Science, Management, Economics, Commerce, History, Political Science, Psychology, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Social Work, English Literature, Visual Communication, Journalism, etc.
