On Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th of April, in the context of the EU international project ETHICS4CHALLENGES (E4C): Innovative Ethics Education for Major Technological and Scientific Challenges” (Erasmus+), an international workshop on the ethics of science and technology is organized at NKUA. The project aims at advancing the education on ethics of science and technology in order to address the contemporary international technoscientific (environmental, biotechnological, digital) challenges. The project stems from the co-operation of four international partners, and namely, the Middle East Technical University (METU), the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the European University Viadrina (EUV), and the European Inter-University Association of Society, Science and Technology (ESST). The NKUA scientific coordinator is professor Aristotle Tympas, director of the graduate program ‘Science, Technology, Society – Science and Technology Studies (STS)’. The workshop is organized in collaboration with the NKUA ‘Laboratory of Philosophy, Ethics, Policy and Communication of Science and Technology’, which is directed by professor Stathis Psillos.
