The ENGINE project aims at the modernization and internationalization of Bachelor and VET curricula in Engineering for Renewable Energies in the targeted universities in Albania through innovation of curricula in line with the recent developments in the area and the labor market demand. The use of renewable energy sources and the improvement of eingnergy efficiency ensures a sustainable economy based on the conditions of scientific development. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to raise awareness of the younger generation on the use of RES and energy efficiency technologies through activities such as design of new curricula or upgrading of existing ones, training of academic staff, building student laboratories as well as expand the network of collaboration with International Higher Education Institutions for the recognition and implementation of modern relevant technologies.

The consortium consists of 11 partners and is led by the Polytechnic University of Tirana (Albania). NKUA is in charge of WP3 – E-learning courses development and capacity building for staff.
