The Student Cultural Society of the University of Athens (POFPA) runs under the Cultural Activities Office of the NKUA’s Directorate of Student Welfare. Its mission is to support and promote the artistic production of students at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In this regard, POFPA serves as a platform for collective expression and creativity. As members of POFPA, students can enjoy access to art, experiment with it, and even create their own.
POFPA comprises four Sections, namely Theatre, Dance, Cinema, and Photography. To find their artistic inclinations and abilities, all NKUA students are encouraged to get involved in the University’s Student Cultural Society by participating in its many cultural activities.
You can apply to become a member of POFPA at the office of your preferred Section (Theatre, Photography, and Cinema are on the mezzanine, and Dance is on the first basement of the Directorate of Student Welfare). Each of the Sections independently decides its working hours.
