A visit to the NKUA’s School of Theology by faculty members of the University of Tartu, Estonia

On Tuesday, 24 October 2023, Drs Roland Karo and Priit Rohtmets (Systematic Theology and Church History, respectively) visited the NKUA’s School of Theology as Head and Vice-Head of the School of Theology and Religious Studies of the Estonian University of Tartu.

Professor of Church History and Chair at the NKUA’s Department of Theology, Dr Dimitrios Moschos, together with Professor of Canon Law, His Eminence Metropolitan Gregorios of Peristerion, led the guests on a tour of the School. Then, in the presence of other faculty members of the NKUA’s Department of Theology, they exchanged views with the Estonian delegation on theological studies in Greece and Estonia, with both sides deciding to deepen their relations (an Erasmus exchange programme is already in place) and consider further forms of collaboration, such as signing a Memorandum of Understanding in the future, co-supervision agreements, etc.
