A new master’s degree in Digital Humanities is offered by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with the University of Cyprus and the ATHENA Research Centre, which will start in the academic year 2024-2025.
The aim of the MSc in Digital Humanities is to offer scientific expertise and to be a starting point for the development and expansion of research in Digital Humanities, which is an evolving domain, with significant scientific, social and economic importance, necessary for the protection and promotion of the digital heritage internationally. The MSc in Digital Humanities offers 4 specialisations: (a) Data Analytics for Humanities, (b) 3D Technologies, (c) Augmented Textual Studies and (d) Geographic Information Systems.
The Programme will be educationally supported by faculty members of the three cooperating institutions, as well as by distinguished scholars from other Greek or foreign institutions.
The Postgraduate Programme admits graduates from Departments of Humanities and Social Sciences, Informatics and Information Science/Technologies and Digital Industry Technologies, in Greece or Departments of recognised cognate institutions abroad with related cognitive object, as well as graduates of T.E. I. departments with related cognitive object.
