NKUA students achieved distinction at the World Universities Debate Championship

George Aravosis (School of Law) and Panagiotis Gouvelis (Department of Informatics and Telecommunications) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens made it to the final round in the category ‘English as a Foreign Language’ of the World Universities Debating Championship 2023 in Madrid, Spain, on January 3, 2023.

The Greek team, representing NKUA for the first time in this competition, stood out among 270 teams from top Universities around the globe (e.g., Harvard University, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Stanford University, etc.).

Following that, the Greek diplomatic mission in Spain invited and congratulated the NKUA delegation on their accomplishment.
