The Dean of the NKUA’s School of Law, Professor Linos-Alexander Sicilianos, in a hearing at the International Court of Justice in The Hague

From Monday, 15 April, through to Friday, 19 April 2024, took place in The Hague the hearings on the preliminary objections in the case Application of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discriminations (Armenia vs Azerbaijan) before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The case concerns violations of a range of human rights against individuals of Armenian ethnic or national origin from the mid-1990s onwards, especially during the 44-day war in 2020 and subsequent events in Nagorno-Karabakh to date.
