On Monday, 2 September 2024, a delegation from the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) visited NKUA to explore opportunities for collaboration between the two Universities.
Present at the meeting, on the part of EdUHK, were the Associate Vice-President for Internationalization, Professor Lo Sing Kai, the Executive Officer I in the Global Affairs Office, Dr Wang Yifei, and the Coordinator in the above Office, Ms Xie Jingyi, and, on the part of NKUA, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, International Relations, and Extroversion, Professor Sophia Papaioannou, the faculty member at the Department of Philosophy, Professor Giorgos Arabatzis, and the Head of the Directorate of Public Relations and History, Ms Sotiria-Alexandra Sakellariou.
The Education University of Hong Kongexpressed a desire for collaboration with our University in the fields of Education, Philosophy, and Psychology. Thus far, EdUHK and NKUA have identified four potential forms of cooperation. They include exchanges of academic and research staff, summer schools, partnerships at the level of postgraduate programmes of study, cotutelles/joint PhDs, etc. All participants in the meeting agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, which initiated the appropriate procedure.
