The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens will host for the fifth year the Kapodistrian Run on Sunday, 26 March 2023. The Kapodistrian Run began in the context of NKUA’s 180th anniversary and has since grown into a successful yearly sporting event held on the University Campus. This Run aims to promote, among other things, health through exercise and is open to students and citizens of all ages and genders as long as they have an interest in physical recreational activities. The 2023 Run has been improved with a new track and an additional category for children.
Three different categories will be available:
- 10,000 m road race for adults,
- 4,000 m walking route, and
- 1,000 m road race for children and adolescents.
The new track was developed to be 2,000 m long, beautiful, with minimal elevation change and located on Campus. It is indicated in the graphic below and further described at this link: Course map
