Earlier this July, the Department of Philosophy of NKUA hosted two international Summer Schools entitled ‘Leadership – Virtues, Skills, Strategies’ (academic responsible: Associate Professor E. Protopapadakis) and ‘Democracy: Ancient Perspectives – Modern Challenges’ (academic responsible: Professor G. Steiris).
Led by faculty members from the Department of Philosophy and other Institutions in Greece and abroad, all classes were held at the ‘Old University’ in the Athenian district of Plaka. Students from various countries attended. The Programmes included several educational trips and visits for participants.
Both Summer Schools had the support of the Study in Greece project.
