Professor Yannis Bayios of the National and Kapodistrian University’s School of Physical Education and Sport Science will be one of the participants in the TOR450 – Tor des Glaciersl in Italy, an endurance trail and test reserved exclusively for 200 runners chosen to take on the little-known trails and ridges of the Valle d’Aosta. Date: 9-17 September 2022. The distance covered in this competition, that may never be repeated, will be 450 km (elevation: 32000m) and the maximum time 190 hours with the starting and finishing points being Courmayeur-Valle d’Aosta, Italy. The Award ceremony will take place 18 September 2022. To participate in the TOR450 – Tor des Glaciers you must have completed a TOR330 – Tor des Géants® event in less than 130 hours. Nine participants from Greece will be taking part in the TOR330.
