Ξεκίνησε το Θερινό Σχολείο 2022 “Refugee/Migration Flows and their Media Portrayals” του Διατμηματικού Μεταπτυχιακού Προγράμματος Σπουδών “Media & Refugee/Migration Flows” του Τμήματος Επικοινωνίας και ΜΜΕ του ΕΚΠΑ και του Τμήματος Κοινωνιολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου που πραγματοποιείται στην Λέσβο, από την Δευτέρα 4 Ιουλίου έως και την Κυριακή 17 Ιουλίου 2022.

“Migration is one of the burning social, economic and political issues of our time, caused by oppression, civil conflicts, wars, discrimination and persecution, poverty, climate change and many other factors. Europe, and especially Greece, is one of those areas that are temporarily or permanently accepting large numbers of refugees and migrants. At the same time, the construction of the public image of refugee and migrant flows by the media contributes to shaping the decisions taken by governments and supranational bodies, such as those of the EU, concerning the management of refugees and migrants in various social areas such as politics and rights, education, employment, housing, etc.”
