As part of their educational visit to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. (3-10/12/2022), the Postgraduate Programme ‘MSc in Journalism and New Media’ students from the Department of Communication and Media Studies of NKUA worked with CSIS executives and specialized professionals from politics to produce a series of journalistic texts, complete with rich multimedia content. Our students chose the theme of climate change and its relevance to current global issues, like migration, and shared their research through videos, podcasts, infographics, and interviews filmed in one of CSIS’ high-tech studios.
With excellent use of all digital journalism tools and a novel strategy of adding realistic solutions/proposals, our students created a high-quality product that received widespread acclaim.
